On Saturday, February 22, 2025, James (Jim) Monroe Mullins, age 93 of Jackson, departed this world to be with his Lord and Savior. Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Jim is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rose, his children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister, Vernie Fields of Florida & many nieces and nephews.
Jim was born on November 1, 1931, to John Wesley Mullins and Janie (Addington) Mullins in Pikeville, KY. He was the 7h of thirteen children born to John & Janie. He was preceded in death by his parents and all but 1 sibling. Preceding him are: brothers Truman (Chelsea) Mullins, Raymond Mullins, John Jr. (Vesta) Mullins, Milburn Mullins, Martin (Mossie) Mullins, Noble Lee (Esta) Mullins, Fearl Mullins (infant) & Charles (Sue) Mullins; sisters Aileen (Arnold) Mullins, Barbara Dean Beatty, Geneva (Lovell) Profitt
