Gary Lee "Chipper" Coleman, age 75, of Oak Hill, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 4, 1950, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Charles and Esther (Saunders) Coleman.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia (Metzler) Coleman; children, Tiffany Jonas (Brian Lambert), of Oak Hill, and Garrett Coleman (Sara Reckart), of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Gavin (Kailey Adkins) Jonas, Grant Lambert, Morgan Lambert, Olivia Lambert and Chris Reckart; siblings, Eddie (Becky) Coleman, John (Brenda) Coleman, and Essie Parker. He is also survived by too many friends to list.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Coleman, and his grandparents.
Gary grew up in Blackfork, he graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1969. He was a member of the Portland Masonic Lodge . He enjoyed fishing, hunt
